Thomas Nygren, Professor of history and civics education at the Department of Education, Uppsala University

This presentation will be based on Nygren’s book “AI i skolan: Möjligheter och utmaningar i undervisningen”, soon to be published in English.

The book provides an overview of the digital challenges and opportunities in today’s education system. It explains what AI actually is and covers topics such as AI literacy, source awareness and subject-specific opportunities and challenges – all to help you as a teacher successfully integrate new technology into your classroom.
