Lili Jiang is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computing Science, Umeå University

Abstract: Nowadays, artificial intelligence (AI) technologies play a frontier role in acquiring knowledge in various domains.  In this talk, Lili will present some of her previous and ongoing research on entity-based knowledge harvesting by applying text analysis, information retrieval, natural language processing, data federation, and machine learning etc.  Moreover, the responsibility concerns during knowledge harvesting (e.g., privacy, explainability) as well as their research contributions on these issues will be mentioned.
